Expert Call Processor (ECP) and Expert Call Manager (ECM) |

The ECP is the front-end interface to the telephony trunk lines with telephony hardware and resources boards installed. With the appropriate module installed (Expert Call Manager Inbound/Outbound, Expert FOD), it will process the inbound and outbound call. Service flows like Interactive Voice Response and Fax-On-Demand are implemented in this machine.
The Expert Call Manager (ECM) is a service management platform with the predefined program code development template for CTADE developer. Programmer is developing their application under a guided environment to fit into the ECTS infrastructure. |

Expert FOD and Expert FaxOverlay |

Expert FOD is a software module which provides two-call mode fax delivery of pre-stored fax tiff files. It provides a first-in-first-out (FIFO) queue and supports automatic retry for failed delivery. The retry interval and maximum retry are system parameters and can be changed. The FIFO queue structure is open and application developer can write their own application to append outbound fax jobs to the queue.
Expert FaxOverlay is a module for creating dynamic fax ( fiff image) from tiff and text template. Character set supported includes ANSI, BIG5, GB 2312 and various others supported under MS Windows Internet Explorer. |

Expert Alert is a software module which allows application to send alert message to a central alarm manager resided in the same or external PC. The alarm manager is a GUI based interface and support audible and visual alert via multi-media PC. It also supports SMTP and SNMP alert. |

Expert Information Reader (Expert IR) |

The Expert Information Reader module is used for reading out a text string or a file to the telephony channel. It is the interface between the application and the underlying Text-to-Speech (TTS) engine. TTS engines for different languages can be installed in the same ECP or a remote TTS server with cross platform support. Currently it supports UK/US English, Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese. Auto-language detector is available to switch between English and Chinese automatically when it comes across mixed language text. |

With Expert Socket, protocol like SMPP (Short Message Peer-to-Peer Protocol) can be easily deployed without writing complex C program to handle the protocol data unit (PDU). |
