MESSAGEmanager FAX
Solutions for Public Switched and IP Networks |
|
| |
| |
MESSAGEmanager FAX enables organisations
in both the private and public sectors to increase
employee productivity, reduce telecommunications
costs and assist with corporate governance
requirements by automating the transmission
and reception of fax documents from email
systems, Multi Function Devices, Document and
Content Management Systems, ERP and CRM
applications.
MESSAGEmanager eliminates the labour,
equipment, phone lines and supplies associated
with manual faxing.
For organisations that require control and security
for compliance purposes, facsimiles sent and
received can be tracked, logged and archived
in the MESSAGEmanager SQL database
or integrated with Document and Content
Management solutions.
Incoming facsimiles are automatically routed to the
user’s mailbox. |

| T.38 IP FAX |
T.38 is the standard for Real-Time Group 3 Facsimile transmission between terminals, where a
portion of the transmission path between terminals includes an IP network such as the Internet.
MESSAGEmanager T.38 IP FAX software provides high performance fax capability and reliability
with the industry leading Brooktrout T.30 protocol, Error Correction Mode, MMR fax compression
plus real-time IP Fax. Host-based processing allows media processing and call control functions
— traditionally performed by specialised digital signal processors (DSP) on boards — to be
performed on general purpose host CPU’s that run on industry standard servers.
MESSAGEmanager IP FAX eliminates the need to deploy and maintain remote fax servers in
multiple locations, substituting inexpensive Gateways which connect to the PSTN.
Messages are routed over the IP network to the PSTN destination via the nearest T.38 Fax
Gateway. Savings of up to 40% have been reported from shifting fax traffi c to IP networks.
MESSAGEmanager integrates with Cisco Routers, Cisco Call Manager, Avaya Media Gateways,
Alcatel – Lucent switches, Audiocodes, Quintum, 3Com and other SIP and H.323 compliant T.38
gateways and routers.
With no boards to install or maintain, MESSAGEmanager reduces complexity, simplifies
deployment, lowers maintenance costs and is scaleable to an unlimited number of users
simply by licensing extra channels – no new hardware is required. |
