Mediant 800B – SBA
A Survivable Branch Appliance (SBA) designed to serve small branch office. Supporting up to 30 voice channels, it ensures the continuity of internal voice and data communications in the event of a WAN failure.
Part of our One Voice for Skype for Business portfolio, The Mediant 800 SBA is an essential element in multisite Microsoft Lync Unified Communications deployments, and is fully certified by Microsoft for use with Skype for Business Server.
The Mediant 800 SBA is available in two variants:
- Mediant 800 SBA-N – cost-effective solution for micro-branch offices (up to 30 users)
- Mediant 800 SBA – suitable for small branch offices (up to 250 users), capable of supporting 3rd party IT applications
- Advanced applications, including SIP phone integration, smartphone integration, and a Lync-based recording solution
- PSTN connectivity in parallel and as a fallback to SIP Trunk connectivity
- Flexible interface configurations include digital spans, analog ports and BRI interfaces
- Open server platform for hosting additional value-added services and applications
- Lync migration support for branch offices with advanced call routing capabilities, such as Call Forking and Active Directory look-up
- Supports emergency calling standards, including E911 and Emergency Location Identification Number (ELIN)
